Lisa Lallouz is an accomplished children's author, poet, lyricist, producer and art collector dedicated to inspiring and educating young minds.

Born in Montreal and raised in New York City, Lisa was immersed in a world of art and culture from an early age. Her father, a filmmaker and art collector, and her mother, a psychologist, both had a profound impact on her career, instilling in her an early appreciation for art, storytelling, and a deep understanding of human behavior.

Lisa’s passion for art goes far beyond personal appreciation; she is deeply involved in art curation and investment. Working alongside prominent art scholars and figures in the art world, Lisa is currently curating and preparing for exhibition her father's art legacy, a rare collection of contemporary and impressionist art.

Lisa earned her degree in Social Work from prestigious McGill University. Her commitment to promoting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and families is deeply personal. Having endured significant trauma in her own life, she has developed a profound empathy and expertise in helping others. Lisa has dedicated her career to empowering at-risk youth and families.

She is the creator of the “Miss Bonita and Friends” children’s book series, which aims to navigate children and families through crisis and challenges successfully.

In her writing, Lisa tackles numerous complex themes such as grief, loss and anxiety. Lisa creates engaging narratives to make painful emotions relatable and accessible. Her series combines fun with learning, focusing on character development and moral lessons to help children embrace their authentic selves.

Passionate about supporting education, Lisa has created valuable content for teachers and classrooms, developing resources that help educators address children's emotional and social needs. This includes her pivotal role in creating a guidebook for teachers and practitioners.

Lisa collaborates with important historical figures, such as legendary advocate for social justice, The Honorable Dr. Jean Augustine and the distinguished internationally known Canadian indigenous rights activist Dr. Doreen Spence.

These projects underscore Lisa's determination to preserve the legacies of great women and bring their stories to children.

Lisa divides her time between Toronto and the UAE where she lives with her husband, children, and dogs.
