Ann is a Member of the Board of Johara Global. Based in London, she is also a private funds lawyer at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, having previously practised for over seven years at the London offices of Clifford Chance and White & Case. She worked for several years as Head of Transactional Business Development at global law firm Mayer Brown, covering all aspects of client account management, marketing and business development initiatives for the London office.

Ann spent many years in the charity sector as a consultant, developing and executing a corporate partnership and fundraising strategy at London’s child poverty charity The Childhood Trust. Her network extends across the legal, charity, education, wellness & wellbeing sectors and she has started several of her own business enterprises.

She is the mother of two teenage daughters and a younger son and is deeply passionate about the role women play in business, society and in their communities. As someone who took a pause in her own career to focus on raising her children, Ann actively mentors and supports other women returning to their careers, realising the value women bring and the potential they have. A native Swede and fluent Swedish speaker, Ann lived and studied in the US as a teenager. That experience, coupled with living in London for over two decades as a cultural family has showed her the importance and power of breaking down cultural barriers, challenging misconceptions and broadening one’s mind.
In her spare time, Ann teaches barre fitness classes, takes singing lessons and volunteers for The Childhood Trust.
