Saudi and UK women leaders meet in London to discuss cultural ties

A group of leading Saudi and British women met in London on Friday to discuss the role of culture, storytelling and creative exchanges in strengthening ties between communities.

The gathering, hosted by Dame Susan Langley, the lady mayor of London, at her official residence, Mansion House, brought together women who hold leading roles in the fields of culture, education, business, finance and academia and have strong personal and professional links to both Saudi Arabia and the UK.

Johara Global CEO Speaks at Great Futures London

At Future Stores London, Johara Global's CEO joined a panel highlighting the organisation's mission to bridge cultures through art and its four core pillars to foster female leadership.

Alongside Smruti Sriram OBE, CEO Bags of Ethics and Abdulaziz Alghifaili Director, Ministry of Investment, Saudi Arabia, and moderated by Kate Hardcastle, the session also explored art, luxury and sustainability - part of the UK-Saudi GREAT FUTURES initiative led by the UK Department for Business and Trade.

Al Johara: A Network for Extraordinary Saudi Women

On 27th March 2019 we held our first event at the Four Seasons in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Over 50 of the most influential women from Saudi Arabi and the UK attended the formal dinner and story telling evening about Al Johara’s mission. The event was featured in the Luxury Network International.
