Hanaa Almoaibed is a social science academic researcher who focuses on youth and young people’s transitions from education to work in the GCC and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is a Research fellow with the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, as well as an Associate Fellow with the Chatham House Middle East North Africa Programme and a Visiting Research Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

She has led several development projects related to youth empowerment building private-public partnerships for corporate social responsibility projects and is an education and career guidance specialist. She consults on programs and curriculum at the Saudi Culinary Institute, Zadk in AlKhobar. Hanaa holds a PhD from UCL’s Institute of Education, an Msc from LSE and a BA from the University of Washington.
